I’m taking a break. 

When I started this newsletter two years ago, I made a few private promises to myself:

1. I’m only doing this if I can help others

2. I’m only doing this if I’m enjoying it (it can’t become work)

3. It was not stealing time from other important aspects of my life

Nearly every week, box No. 1 gets checked. So many of you all have messaged me to say you enjoy the newsletter, and often people even tell me it seems like I’ve written it just for them. That truly means a lot to me, and it has kept me motivated for two years. 

There have definitely been times where I’ve been busy and it felt like work to get a newsletter done, but I’ve been surprised to have written nearly 100 newsletters without feeling too bogged down. It’s usually been a pleasure. 

It’s really No. 3 that has made me decide to take a break. I’m going to take the summer off from the newsletter and recharge my creative juices. I’m not saying you won’t get anything from over the next 90 days, but there will definitely not be weekly updates.
